Week Four the primary focus is on makeup for TV and video productions; however, we will be covering several makeup application techniques that are important for all specialties of makeup applications, not just television. For example: the makeup artist that perfects her techniques for hi-definition will never need her work photoshop corrected for print advertising jobs and other photography; therefore becoming the photographer's first choice for booking. After completing this week (one day in classroom and weekly homework assignments) you will have a complete understanding of the artistic and technical skills necessary to become a working media makeup artist. Whether you want to do makeup on television commercials, or video productions, this makeup class will prepare you with the skills needed for makeup applications for HDTV as well as regular TV makeup. This course includes airbrushed foundation as well as traditionally applied foundation demonstrations and hands-on student practice. See curriculum outline below for more of what is covered in our PowerPoint Presentation and your Workbook during this week.
