Most commonly asked question:
What is the difference between this 1-Day Private Mentorship Makeup Artist Training and your 4-Day Essentials for the Freelance Makeup Artist course?
Answer:
There is no difference in the curriculum (the Workbook and the PowerPoint Presentation). The 1-Day Mentorship Training includes all of the same curriculum as our 4-Day Essentials for the Freelance MUA. However, there are a few minor differences including:

  • In the 1-Day Private Mentorship you have only one hands-on practice vs. in the 4-Day Essentials you have four hands-on practice makeup applications (one per day)
  • With the 4-Day course you will have the option to sit in on the same class when offered again in the future (if/when empty seats available) at no additional charge vs. with the 1-Day Private Mentorship you will have the option of shadowing Kat on real assignments up to one full year (when acceptable with client).
  • In the 1-Day you do not have to bring anything with you; since it is one-on-one then you will simply work from Kat's kit during your hands-on practice session. While you will need to bring a basic makeup kit and brushes to the 4-Day Essentials course.
  • The 1-Day course can be customized slightly due to there only being one student instead of a classroom of up to ten students. This means we can breeze through the topics the student is already confident in and slow down to focus on the topics more needed. Also, student can choose between airbrushed foundation or traditional application during the makeup demonstration and hands-on practice session.

Bonus:
Students that complete the "Private Mentorship Makeup Artist Training" and afterwards feel they would have benefited more with the 4-Day "Essentials for the Freelance Makeup Artist" course instead may pay the $200 difference and attend the entire 4-day course.
