Flynt Makeup Academy is Kat Flynt's advanced Atlanta makeup school offering makeup classes in Atlanta and is hosted by Aesthetic and Cosmetology Schools throughout the Atlanta area since 2006. Makeup classes offered by Kat Flynt through the makeup school include theory and hands-on practice of all makeup techniques taught during each makeup class. The series of all four of our 3-Day makeup courses combined include advanced makeup training in all areas of media makeup (makeup for commercial photography, fashion shows, magazines, television commercials, television appearances, video productions, industrial videos, infomercials, news programs, advertising, catalogues, newspapers, brochures, etc...) as well as makeup for weddings. Each basic and advanced makeup class includes theory presented in a PowerPoint Presentation. Each makeup class includes demonstrations by the makeup instructor. Each makeup class also includes hands on practice by all students in the class. With the combination of all four makeup courses the curriculum of study will include: Setting up Your Office, Setting up Your Business, General Opportunities for Makeup Artists in the Atlanta market, Marketing Yourself as a Professional Freelance Makeup Artist in the Atlanta area, Creating Visibility for Yourself, Self Promotion without Arrogance, Building Relationships, Understanding Networking, Professional Presence, Attitude/Self-Awareness, Physical Appearance, Dressing for Success as a Professional Freelance Makeup Artist, Virtual Presence, Your Social and Interactive Presence, Skills and Knowledge, The Makeup Artist's Marketing Materials, Building a Professional Makeup Artist Website, Designing Your Business Cards, Developing a Rate Sheet, Auditions, Tests, and Building a Portfolio (Subject to successful achievement of makeup course content, qualified students will be referred to a professional photographer for free tests for the purpose of portfolio development), Etiquette between Makeup Artists working together on assignment or as an Assistant, What you need to know in advance before accepting each assignment, Building your professional Makeup Kit, Basic Sanitation practices for the makeup artist, Basic Beauty Makeup Application Steps, Advanced Eye Makeup Techniques, False Lash Applications, Makeup for Weddings, Current Bridal Makeup Trends, Promoting Yourself, Your Policies as a Professional Freelance Makeup Artist, Creating the perfect makeup look for the Bride that will last all day, Makeup for Fashion Photography, Makeup for Film & Television, Career in TV Makeup, Assistant Makeup Artist, Key Makeup Artist, Developing the Designs, Makeup & Hair Continuity, Makeup for Television & Video Production, Advanced Makeup Techniques, and Makeup for Hi-Definition.
