Week One covers most of the basic essentials needed to work as a Freelance Makeup Artist; however, some of the essentials specific to a certain specialty will be included in the "Advanced" portions of this course. Example: portfolio building is included in the day for "Advanced Makeup for Fashion and Photography" even though it is "Essential" to your business as a Freelance Makeup Artist. After completing this first week (one day in classroom and weekly homework assignments) student will have a complete understanding of: the career opportunities for freelance makeup artists in the metro Atlanta area; how to choose a career path; the image that is expected of a professional makeup artist; industry terminology; set etiquette; rules for sanitation; the importance of a flawless foundation; and so much more. You will also have the option of being added to Kat's "Assistants List" after completing this first week and all homework assignments included with this week.
