Atlanta based freelance makeup artist, Kat Flynt is best known for her clean makeup applications that enhance the natural beauty. With more than 19 years' experience and a clientele that spans the eastern United States from Atlanta to New York, her body of work – which includes commercials, video productions, print advertising, catalogues, and fashion editorials – exemplifies her ability to enhance the natural beauty of the face as well as creating flawless, modern looks specifically for each project or special occasion. Besides being a working Professional Makeup Artist, Kat is also a Licensed Esthetician and Licensed Makeup & Esthetics Instructor. Kat first got her start applying makeup for an Atlanta area studio's Glamour Shoots in 1993. From there she began receiving requests to do bridal makeup and entire wedding parties. In 2002, after nine years of successfully proving her natural talent and self-taught skills, she chose to continue her education and become a licensed Esthetician (Skin Care Specialist). Kat continues to enhance her God-given talent with ongoing education which included returning to school in 2010 to become a Licensed Aesthetic and Makeup Instructor. Kat specializes in media makeup (makeup for commercial photography, fashion shows, magazines, television commercials, television appearances, video productions, industrial videos, infomercials, news programs, advertising, catalogues, newspapers, brochures, etc...) as well as makeup for weddings and other special occasions and has been teaching advanced makeup classes since 2006. Due to her busy schedule working as a freelance makeup artist full-time Kat offers the makeup artist training on Mondays only and accepts no more than four new students per month (usually less).
